cup heavy cream

clove garlic clove

oz tortellini

cup parmesan cheese

tbsp butter

π§π Creamy Lemon Garlic Tortellini
π Ingredients
* 20 oz tortellini
* 1 stick (8 tbsp) butter
* 1 cup heavy cream (bump this up from 3/4 cup)
* 1 1/4 cups freshly grated parmesan
* 2 cloves garlic, minced
* 1/2 lemon (juice + zest)
* Salt + pepper
* Fresh parsley (optional)

1. Cook tortellini
Boil in salted water. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.
2. Start sauce
Melt butter β add garlic (30β60 sec).
3. Add cream
Pour in 1 cup heavy cream β simmer 2β3 mins.
4. Add cheese
Stir in parmesan until smooth + thick.
5. Lower heat β add lemon
Juice + zest, salt + pepper.
6. Combine
Add tortellini + a splash of pasta water if needed.
7. Finish
Toss until glossy + coated. Top with more parm + parsley.
Note: You can use 1/2 stick of butter if you are worried about calories. I just used 1 whole stick for the full experience.
