What you need

fl oz fresh lemon juice

tsp black pepper

lb broccoli
cup pasta water

clove garlic clove
tsp dried oregano
cup fresh parmesan cheese

cup heavy cream

oz ditalini pasta
lemon zest

tbsp olive oil

tbsp butter

cup chicken broth

Instructions
1. Cook pasta while making the sauce. Cook pasta in well-salted water until al dente. Reserve pasta water. 2. Melt butter with olive oil in a large skillet. Add onion and garlic, sauté until soft. Season lightly with salt. 3. Add broccoli and toss to coat. Cook until tender but still bright green. 4. Add 2 cups heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. (Add more cream later if needed.) 5. Stir in chicken broth, then oregano. 6. Add lemon zest and cook briefly. 7. Add lemon juice, a splash of pasta water and some parmesan. Stir until smooth. 8. Add pasta and toss to combine. 9. Add remaining parmesan and stir again until creamy. Add more cream or pasta water if needed. Season with black pepper. Garnish: olive oil + parmesan.View original recipe
